WBTV Greenlights ‘Supergirl’ TV Show

The DC Universe-on-TV  is further expanding with the announcement of a potential Supergirl series.

Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler, who worked together on ABC’s short-lived No Ordinary Family, will produce and write the script, respectively.

No other information is known — who will star? Will it be 30 minutes or  60 minutes? — other than it “is in the early stages of development and expected to be taken out to networks soon,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A Supergirl series would join Arrow, The Flash, Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, Gotham, Constantine, and iZombie for comic book adaptations on television.

So: Are YOU excited about a potential Supergirl TV series? Who would YOU like to see play the title role?
