Josh Brolin to Play “Thanos” in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ Probably ‘Avengers 3’

Variety reported Friday that actor Josh Brolin will play Thanos, the Titan supervillain of the Marvel franchise.

He will appear in Guardians of the Galaxy, which director James Gunn says is “definitely tied to Avengers 3.”
