An adorable Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker cake I made for a 1st Birthday last week!

I am totally in love with it, even if Link’s cocky eyebrow pissed me off at 4 am from lack of sleep. The whole ship is cake, while the King of Red Lions is carved foam and chocolate.

I tried to stay true to the games’ style with it’s boxy shapes and smooth finishes. There’s that Rolled fondant technique from last week in the form of dozens of rolled fondant waves!
