  1. I think things like this are less that the author made accurate predictions than today's inventors recall things they've liked and are inspired by them to create what we now see.

  2. Bradbury wasn't the first to predict some of these (wrist radios and omnipresent surveillance for instance). And the "Virtual Reality Rooms" of 1992 with ray traced vector graphics are a far cry from the holodeck with dire consequences of "The Veldt."
    Love Ray and will miss him, but this is a bit weak as a tribute. He was a great writer of ideas and emotions not a hard tech engineer with story telling talent.
