Move Over World of Warcraft: An Elder Scrolls MMO Will Soon Be Here!

The Elder Scrolls Online game is scheduled to go live in 2013 for both PC and Mac.

Developed by the team at Zenimax Online Studios, The Elder Scrolls Online merges the unmatched exploration of rich worlds that the franchise is known for with the scale and social aspects of a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Players will discover an entirely new chapter of Elder Scrolls history in this ambitious world, set a millennium before the events of Skyrim as the daedric prince Molag Bal tries to pull all of Tamriel into his demonic realm.

  1. Now if only they would not try to follow WoW, and SWTOR with cartoon graphics…

    • Too late, it looks like a WOW clone, crying shame and a wasted opportunity. GW2 is 'semi' breaking the mold currently so the time is right for another team to branch out too…but as usual it's 'safer' to cater to the brain dead masses.

  2. Now instead of traveling the world performing heroic deeds, I can travel the world performing heroic deeds while being screamed at for heals and watching bronies insult each other on general chat while a naked level 1 chick played by a dude runs around asking for interfamilial ERP when she’s not /yell spamming advertisements for gold web sites in the one city where everyone sits 90% of the time because “having to travel to experience content is lame.”
