There is No Pink Light [Science!]

Nope, pink light doesn’t really exist. Unfortunately for me, my daughter seems to disagree with this scientific evidence.

  1. I actually learned this in a class last semester. It was interesting to know that all animals can see pink regardless of what wavelengths they can see. For example, bees see wavelengths on the spectrum between yellow and ultraviolet, and so their pink is a mix of yellow and ultraviolet.
    I feel like such a nerd xD

  2. well, maybe there is pink light, and maybe there aint, but i'm still going to refer to it as such when i'm talking about reaching the end of that tunnel of not getting any, if you catch my drift.
