  3. This makes me nostalgic. And, btw, it is not a prediction, rather a description of the current state.

    @Jay – It wasn't so much that the Internet was accessed by educated people, but that they were mostly professionals in the IT field who were communicating with colleagues. Later came the college undergraduates, the WEBTV users, teenagers, spammers etc.

  5. yeah back in that day it was BBS's and user groups mostly. And most that used were the more educated people. Since then with the advent of more availability to the "common man", its gone to hell lol

    Its a shame all the douchebags have gotten on.
