Plunging your Hand in Liquid Nitrogen

Thanks to the Leidenfrost effect, Popsci’s Mike Walker was able to safely plunge (just for a second!) his hand in a jar of liquid nitrogen. Check it out:

  1. We used to use excess nitrogen to dust the floor. We'd just pour it, and the dust would be pushed by the flow of the nitrogen. Then we'd just have to clean one end of the room.
