The Secret Powers of Time [Video]

In the following video, American psychologist Philip Zimbardo explains how our individual perspectives of time can affect our work, health and well-being. If you’ve got 10 minutes of free time, I highly recommend that you watch this video, and if not, come back later to do so. This is probably one of the most enlightening talk I’ve heard so far this year.

  3. There were a few things in there that I disagreed with but it was certainly a very interesting speech. Well worth the ten minutes and nine seconds of my valuable time, although it took too long to download and that made me ANGRY! :P

  5. Much of it is valid, but I will say: Is the change in society actually a BAD thing? We are more rushed, less healthy, so what? That's a choice. So we're impatient; we get more done. It's different, but the changes are not all bad. it also depends on perspective.

Also, these are trends. I am extremely patient and future oriented, and yet I play tons of video games, and have for years.

    • you must understand that the change in society is never a good or bad thing but always investigate where it comes from and at this case it comes from personal profits of people who exploit your and society's change so instead of acting like you say you are "future oriented" you are actually being used and you are unawered "present hedonistic"

thats my opinion and in my opinion all times exist at all of us and u must regard them all
