  1. This may be just me, but these never seem to show him “forging” the blade – he just cuts it out of steel and shapes it… so my inner pedant goes all wonky when he says he forges these swords.

    • To be fair, the poster HERE said he forged it, the video does not. He’s usually pretty specific about the different names for the various processes in the actual videos.

  2. Also a little disappointed it wasn’t forged, but at the same time I understand that spikey fantasy blades don’t lend themselves to being forged. There’s a reason most real blades are lacking in that area. Frostmourne isn’t overly spikey though, a real high layer count pattern weld would have been neat in the blade. Another note is he comes from a prop background. Time is of the essence and grinding tends to be quicker.
