And she’s GOOD!!!

Backstory: While I have yet to take up knitting, based on my movie, music, and fashion choices, I’m basically an 80-year-old trapped in an almost-29-year-old woman’s body. As a result, I went to see the legen…(wait for it)…dary Debbie Reynolds (Singin’ in the Rain, The Unsinkable Molly Brown) on Saturday, March 1, in Chandler, Arizona.

She closed the show by saying that her daughter, Carrie Fisher — yes, THAT Carrie Fisher — flew in to see the show. Not only did Ms. Fisher join her momma on stage, but she sang TWO songs – one to her and one with her! And then Ms. Fisher’s dog, whose tongue did not fit it in its mouth, walked across the stage.

Having met Ms. Fisher at DragonCon once, it was all very surreal…and I got it all on video! (And I’m so sorry, fellow geeks, about my Vertical Video Syndrome! Also, my phone doesn’t let me zoom in during Video Mode.)
