‘Doctor Strange’ May Have Narrowed It Down to 4 Directors

dr_strange_tales

It looks like the Doctor Strange feature may finally be starting to make a little headway. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has begun meeting with directors and four directors may be on the list:

1 – Mark Andrews, the co-writer and co-director of Brave.

2 – Nikolaj Arcel, the screenwriter for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Swedish) and director of A Royal Affair.

3 – Dean Israelite, Welcome to Yesterday filmmaker.

4 – Jonathan Levine, director of 50/50 and Warm Bodies.

There is also the rumor that the studio is looking for “‘a writer and a filmmaker to work in tandem’ or a writer director to helm the movie. The script is already being penned by Jon Aibel and Glenn Berger, who also wrote Kung Fu Panda 2 (Yeah, I don’t know why, either).

Which of these directors would you like to see direct Doctor Strange? What director would you like to see who’s not on the list?
