Dave Filoni, director of Clone Wars, is co-executive producing a new animated Star Wars series called Star Wars Rebels to premiere on Disney XD in the fall of next year.

The series will occur between Episode III & IV, and will be influenced by original Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie.
