I don’t think the people who wrote this would have expected the movie to become what it is today. “Deadly Dull” and “Gets worse every screening?” I think that was my feeling back when I first saw the movie in the early 80s, but I was around 10 years old back then. Things are totally different now.

Frankly, I watched this movie in the last few years to see what all the talk was about, and I found it incredibly dull and basically an example of a really bad 80s movie. I don’t understand this film’s cult classic status.
Which “version” did you see? It makes a pretty big difference.
I have attempted to watch Blade Runner on multiple occasions and have yet to not fall asleep. It’s a shame too because I absolutely loved the book.
