Leading up to the March 28 launch of G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Paramount has released three character profiles to help us acquaint ourselves with the American heroes before they reach the screen. Most buzzed, obviously, is Lady Jaye’s video.
1. Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye
2. Channing Tatum as Captain Duke Hauser
3. DJ Cotrona as Flint
Personally, I’m not yet sold on this as a good movie idea. Then again, I’m not really the target demographic. What do you guys think?
I don’t think there IS a target demographic
The first one at least gave some sense of nostalgia with characters, but this one looks like it’s just action porn with action figures.
I’m not sure it was a good idea to kill off most of the previous cast either. It seems like a move just to get some other Joes screen time.
Things like using the same clip in two of the profiles (jumping through stone window) make me thing that this movie will be on par with the last….and that’s not a compliment.
