The Most Epic Piece of Manly Jewelry Ever: The DaisyCutter Pendant [Video]

----------------

RogueDZN’s Daisycutter is a pendant that features quad, fully functioning, micro turbines, and each of these turbines can rotate at over 10,000RPM. Only 20 units will be manufactured, and then the plans to create them will be destroyed forever. BOOM.

  1. Nice jewelry, but their site breaks so many rules of design, I can’t believe its the same company.
splash screens, playing video and sound without permission (I couldn’t get the sound to stay off either) building the entire thing in flash, linking to massive pdfs without warning…

  2. Looks neat, but ‘Only 20 units will be manufactured, and then the plans to create them will be destroyed forever.’ makes me shake my head and laugh a bit, pondering if “RogueDZN” can be found under “pretentious”.

  3. Super easy to do,
Everyday at my job we manufacture unique piece as complicated like that. Come on…that not "THAT" impressive.

It is cool okay but to destroy the plan…anyway it not like it is usefull for something…that just a piece of jewel, but if it can sell 10K each, we might start to manufacture those in large quantity ;)

  4. I can design one of these in my head with little difficulty, and we'll be able to print them out on 3d printers before long. "Unique" is going the way of the dodo.

    • That was my other thought as well. Are the home printers upto metal fabrications yet or still just plastics/polymers ?

  5. There are very few things I hate more than false scarcity as a marketing tactic. NOTHING about this is a good thing.
