On Saturday, October 6, 2012, The Ohio State University competed against Nebraska. The Buckeyes beat the Cornhuskers 63-38, but the REAL stars of the game were The Ohio State Marching Band!

The OSU band’s halftime show was video game-themed & it included parts from Tetris, Zelda, Pac-Man, Pokemon, and even Halo!

  1. The Ohio State Marching Band = TBDBITL (The Best Damn Band in the Land)

(For full disclosure, I should add that my dad grew up in northcentral Ohio and is a huge Ohio State fan. I had a choice, either become an Ohio State fan myself or get kicked out of the house. Considering I was 3 at the time, I didn't have much of a choice.)

  2. I have a new adoration for Ohio State because of this. That was bloody amazing, and I want to hug the person who choreographed it (and everyone who did it, so essentially the whole band).
