This is a project that I’m backing right now. A LED light bulb that generates as much light as a traditional 60 Watt incandescent bulb, can be controlled wirelessly, lasts up to 25 years, and consumes less power than a fluocompact bulb (without all the nasty chemical), now how awesome is that? Sure, it’s a little on the expensive side, but have you seen what it can do? Check it out in the video below!

Before people back this I would read some of the more skeptical reports such as http://blogs.reuters.com/felix-salmon/2012/09/18/…
I'm not sure this project will ever actually see the light of day
Cool, that's 20 more always on standby devices in my flat, that always suck power to make sure I don't have to move my fat ass around!
Just use a decent LED-bulb…
Searching a little I found this: http://www.smarthome.com/2672-222/INSTEON-LED-Bul…
It seems like a proyect already built. Does any one recognize any difference?
