I knew someone who altered a normal rubik's cube so that he could use it under a desk in class. He covered each side with a different type of fabric, but all colored black – black velvet, black satin, black cotton, etc. It was neat.
That is awesome, and I commend the person who took the time to make this to spread the cube love.
