Bill describes how metals like aluminum and titanium are made resistant to corrosion by growing an oxide layer into the metals. These is the same process used on many Apple products.
I wish people would get over this “Because that what’s Apple do/Apple invented it” thing that’s been going on.

I this case I agree. This is an application of a technology we've had for a while. Any company that works with aluminum tends to rely on these same features. It's interesting, But this isn't some secret tech that Apple invented.
