Adam Warren’s comic book Empowered, is an English-language manga-style graphic novel that walks a fine line of amusing, daring and sexy without being outright adult material (though grownups are most certainly the target audience here). The main character Emp, is gifted with a variety of superhuman abilities via her shiny blue bodysuit. As the suit takes damage, or covers less of Emp, it becomes less effective. Emp losing her outfit is an ongoing problem in the comic to the amusement of the reader.
The series grew from this standard superheroine being drawn in various pinup styled “damsel in distress” illustrations and grew into an ongoing series. Now with some creative photography, Photoshop, a lovely substance called Liquid Latex, and a fetching model named Christine Vandenberk to paint up, fan Paul Hillier created this tribute:

Fashion and portrait photographer Paul Hillier is a big Adam Warren fan, and paid tribute to his idol with an Empowered photoshoot, which he was able to share with Adam Warren himself at the Toronto Comics Arts Festival:

And some of the untouched photos in the making:

This is some excellent work of a fan who was inspired by an artist to use his art to say thank you.

LOL, That must be the record for the shortest distance between a posting on Geeks are Sexy to an area of YouTube that is just Not Safe For Work. May I recommend that you wait until you are at home (and maybe alone) before clicking into many 'related' videos!
Lol, well, the post is clearly marked as nsfw, right? :)
She looks very a-peeling.
The willpower required to stand still, especially in that position, while everything is drying is something I just don't have… (I am a chronic wiggler.) And, oh man, how was it not ticklish being painted? The model really has to have a will of iron to do this, I think.
