Actually, the "How my boss thinks I work" looks more like how it is for me. Two monitors on my desktop, a laptop and my Linux box is what my desk looks like.

Yeap, 'cept I usually set my laptop on my desk instead of in bed
I have worked from my home office for years, and it looks like the one in the beginning. I may wear my pajamas, not shave and be eating Cheerios, but my office does look like that and I go to my office everyday.
