Midnight Sun: A natural phenomenon occurring in the summer months north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle where the sun never fully sets and remains visible 24 hours a day.

This short time lapse film was shot during the Icelandic Midnight Sun in June of 2011.

  1. I love the video. It really makes me want to see Iceland for myself someday. :) But, I have to reluctantly admit, I really hate the music. I wish it were more symphonic, and less twangy guitar. Like, some melancholy wind instruments, and gradually swelling string section I think would be far more meditative and appropriate. The way it is now, it feels like cheesy promotional music to visit Wyoming or some other country-western American state.
