@Emma – i knew it! Only when 'we' are out of earshot, do you let your true colors show.

I wish I knew more women that liked to talk about video games and comics!
I am like that me and my bestfriend(woh is a guy) can talk for a good 1/2 about video games and comics oh and movies

Haha! We do. :'D
You probably do, but they're not comfortable enough with you to realize that you won't look on them as just one of "the guys" if they geek out with you.
well I know two girls that fit the bill just fine, and they are the best people to hangout with, because I can geek out at the same time. I geek out in front of "normals" all the time, they just don't understand anything I am saying, kinda kills the fun :)
hurray for nerd girls!

here's one lol
I'm exactly like that, as is my girlfriend. The majority of our conversations consist of rating people from Lawful Good to Chaotic Evil and geeking out.
lol love it

Let. Me. Marry. You.
90% of the time this is untrue.

Also: There are no girls on the internet. :)
My girlfriend likes video games, loves Star Wars and Star Trek, always enjoys every Sci Fi title when we go to the movies, but I'm sure she doesn't talk about that stuff with her friends.
Your girlfriend needs new friends.
Your girlfriend needs new friends.
Lots of girls talk about geeky stuff. I'm one. I only date geeks too.
But if you're looking for girls who look like those two in the comic AND who talk about geeky stuff… well, that's a much smaller subset. I sure don't and I only know 2-3 who do out of my 20+ geeky girl friends who do (and they're taken).
you have friends that are two dimensional and have weird hair?
I need new friends.
lol. Weird hair yes… and they're pretty close to 2-dimensional if you compare then to the others and use the scientific approach of "eh, small enough, we'll call that 0". :P

My female friends and I aren't huge talkers most of the time… Our "hangout dates" are pretty similar to the beer drinkin' dudes of King of the Hill. (Yup. Mm Hmm. Yup.)… Only with crafts and other geekery.
that sounds like something i'd enjoy :D a lot of people i know think that's boring but i find it relaxing. i like quiet activities like that.

I talk like that a lot. Then again, most of my friends are men.
That is awesome.. *sigh* I needs to find me a geek girl! Theres virtually none in New Jersey! lol
I'm sure there are plenty… They're either not interested, hiding in their basements or otherwise attached. We're tricky like that. ;)
Also: obsessively lonely guys are a total turnoff. I can't say I'm speaking for all geek-tastic females, but for myself and the other females I know, but we're almost predatory in our independence (if that makes sense). If we're interested in dating, we want someone who can take care of us when the situation calls for it… Unfortunately, that's usually a pretty tall order.
Seriously. If we wanted to be swooned over, we'd have put the effort in deciding to be 'girly' in the first place. Look around your local gaming joints, computer stores, music retailers, places where one can purchase video games. We're not as rare as one might think

…Or through tolerance/appreciation of his game console. Also: sammiches.
I'll be honest, the sudden change in conversational topics when an audience shows up is basically a turn-off for me. Be who you are. Don't put on airs in front of others like that.
Raiden > Gordon Freeman > Master Chief. SERIOUSLY.
Why'd you mention Raiden?
Hahaha! Sounds about right for me. XD
test
I don't know why they'd bother changing topics when the guy walks by since there's no way the guy was listening anyway. If anything, he should be outraged that they're sitting around chatting instead of making him a sandwich.

I can talk with girls about MY makeup and clothes, (and I look fantastic in them)
What the heck is that last object?
I want to say that it's Dante from Devil May Cry.
O.o Necropost…
Mmmmm geek girls are the best. Talking Sci-fi, anime, video games with an attractive confident woman is one of the best things in the world. :3
Amazingly true
