Check out the Japanese version of DARPA’s hummingbird-like Nano Air Vehicle (NAV), which can apparently go up to 30mph. It kinds of reminds me of the IT-O Interrogator, the torture droid featured in Star Wars: A New Hope too!
Is there anyone among you guys who could translate what’s being said in the video?

A geek website that doesn't have a single Japanese-speaking staff member? For shame. :P
Also, this reminds me a lot more of the Scanners from Half-Life 2. Considering it has a camera, and DOESN'T torture anything…

My Japanese is really rusty, but I could make out that they plan on having police use them, it has a camera and can fly any direction because the sides. It has a max speed of 60 kilos an hour. Based on what I understood it doesn't look impressive. And Japanese news anchors are so terrible to watch. I'm sure there's more to it that was beyond my Japanese skill, but that's the best I can do.
