Check out these awesomely geeky-named streets located in the town of Geldrop, Netherlands.

You can check out the district on Google Maps right here. However, I have to tell you, you’ll be in for a big dissapointment if you decide to move around the area using Google Street View.
So, is anyone among you guys living in this area? Got any interesting stories about why the streets were named this way?
Well, here in the Netherlands everyone can request streetnames. So if some Tolkien fanclub were to really want streets named like that the can just request it. Dont know the specific story behind this one though..
What i want to know is, where is Sauron and Mordor?
they're a little further east?
One does not simply Google Map up Mordor

The Village Homes neighborhood in Davis, California has streets named after places in the LOTR: Bree, Rivendell, Westernesse, etc.

There's a neighborhood in south Austin, Tx called Shady Hollow that has several Lord of the Rings names for streets. My favorite is Middle Earth. I have a friend that lives just off that street. I like the idea of being able to tell people they live just off of Middle Earth.
