I expect that quite a few of you WOW geeks out there will start weeping at the sight of this. Behold:

For the upcoming launch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, Steelseries has designed a special WOW-Branded MMO gaming mouse that, according to the company, will “meet and exceed the requirements of even the most demanding World of Warcraft gamer.” The mouse features 14 buttons that you can bind to various commands associated with the WOW interface and has backlighting which can generate over 16 million colors, with 4 levels of intensity and pulsation. Interested? The mouse will be available in December for $99.99, right in time for the launch of the new extension.

what do i do about the wow mouse i already have
they should design it to work in “dual wield” to control two boxes at the same time.

The only issue with mouses like these are girls having smaller hands! those buttons on the top edges will never be reached unless i pick up my hand to move them, which just isn't viable. =(
I'm usually not a big fan of that type of mouse, but this one is really pimp
I agree. I'm not even a gamer, either, but I'd love a black/silver non-branded version with a big-ass monitor on a bigger-ass desk.. wouldn't everyone?
That or a Mac Trackpad/Keyboard combo on a bed with a projector on the far wall.
*dazes off into daydreams about awesome tech set-ups*
If it didn't have the WoW logo i would've considered buying it for the steampunk look.
That and if you're left handed :-S
Do they have the same crappy keybinding software with this mouse as they did with the original model?
I read terrible reviews of actually interacting with all those various keys. Without firsthand experience I can't comment on the ease of programmability or the implementation of macros (another point of contention in the reviews) … but hopefully they improved on their second go-round.
