Type your comment here.this is how children are taught to tie their shoes as they do not have the dexterity to tie the more traditional way. So Bravo!

Or you could just tie 'em the regular way, and save the four days of your life that you'll waste trying to figure this out!
This is called the (reworked)Ian knot. I am offended that Sprint wouldn't even try to give credit… or whoever thought this up. There are plenty of instructions available if you want to look it up, it is actually more secure than 'traditional' knots, which I would argue are each MUCH more complicated than this. This isn't what kids learn, but they SHOULD.
I just leave my shoes tied saving untold amounts of time. Plus there is always velcro…

I've been doing this all my life. I could never remember how to do the over-under thingymabober everyone else did, so my grandfather taught me the knot my grandma used, and called it the Grandma Mary Knot. I use it to this day.
