Every once in a while during our Flickr travels, we find a single collection that is worth featuring. This time it comes from NY-based photographer Anna Fischer, whose gallery shows that cosplay is about more than just costuming, and a good photographer can really bring it to life. These are just a few images and there are hundreds more, featuring largely cosplay of anime/manga/videogame characters. No pithy titles needed, we’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves! And feel free to comment to see how many of the characters you can identify.

I looked at #5 and thought "Wow, that woman has a SERIOUSLY odd-shaped torso.." and then looked at the reflection and realised it was just a (REALLY) crappy Photoshop..

Great set of Cosplay pictures. I especially like the "big sword" shot. Always enjoyed a good "big sword" anime, so classic.
