WTF: Battlestar Galactica – A Good-Hearted Tween Comedy?

----------------

Holy crap China! You guys rock! Battlestar Galactica: A BSG / Star Trek / Stargate mashup that is a “good-hearted tween comedy” with “a saw-like twist at the end”? I’d give really good money to see that!

  4. That’s Stargate Alantis, with BSG, on the ST:TNG Enterprise. That would be a kick-ass if it really did exist.

If China thinks this is comedy then there is no wonder why they don’t get us, and why they seem so odd to us.

    Bad marketing translation.

  6. I live in Beijing, and I can say that this is very common. The pictures not so much, but the back, my gosh its like 50% correct. They always put different movie plot text haha.

For others, each DVD is 10 kuai max, u can get them cheaper depending how local and crappy the place is, which is equivalent to $1.476 US dollars. China doesn't think it is comedy. The people who do this get paid… nothing and have no knowledge of what English is. So, it's not that they don't get you, but rather the people who do this cheap labor work are just not educated people. No need to generalize.

  7. It's a pirate, I have a Chienese copy of 'aliens' and there's something about Obi-Wan and robot wars in the description.

  8. There'd probably be a *lot* of people that would pay ridiculous amounts of money for that box though. It's kind of the best thing ever.
