You're math is wrong. :-( Money= Evil ^(1/2) as in Money is the "root of evil" So the rest goes Girls= Evil ^(1/2)* Evil ^(1/2) Then when you multiply two of the same variables together the powers multiply, not add. So it should be Girls= Evil ^(2/2) Girls= Evil However, the solution was correct nonetheless. :-)
Your* Math is my best subject but english is my worst. :-P
Did anyone notice that the inequality symbol was reversed?
its supposed to be reversed since we divided by a negative…
@Thatoneguy
Just so you know bro, anytime you divide or multiply by a negative number to both sides of an inequality the inequality flips…
ie
-2x > 12
divide both sides by -2
x < -6
The inequality sign is reversed.
-7i
— = i
-7
-21u
—- = 3u
-7
So from the third statement you get:
i > 3u
not
i < 3u
What better test is there to replace the letters with values? We all agree that the statement "-7i > -21u" is correct. Let's replace i and u by values that make this statement true: i=2;u=2 -> -14 > -42
Now, take "i 2 < 6
There's the math!
It appears that my message got trimmed :s
what i wanted to say:
Now take i < 3u and put in the values: 2 < 6
if you multiply or divide by a negative number, you reverse the direction of the comparator; the original posting is correct.
when you divide by a negative for the final solve the greater than sign has to be flipped therefor making it a less than sign, so i <3 u is correct
That is just too cute! Too bad I'm the math whiz in my marriage.
Did anyone notice that the inequality symbol was reversed?
because the equation was mutiplied by -1

So love is imaginary, rather than real? Mathematical proof of my decades-long observations at last!

For that reason, this would never work with my math major boyfriend. He'd either start trying to do the equation using imaginary numbers or he'd pull something like that and say love is imaginary :(
How come they started with 9x-7i > 3(3x-7u) ?
They set the equation like that so they could get the result they wanted…. .. . .
Then this seems really stupid to me…
Without any important equation to start with, there is no joke in the whole… joke…

no, the sign at the end is right. when dividing by a negative you flip the greater/lessthan symbol. …i >3 u ….-21/-7 ….i <3 u
this is the best equation ever.. I love maths now. :D

The inequality symbol isn't just reversed, it has just no meaning in a complex inequality ;)
That's cool.. But there is a problem! In the complex number system we don't have a complete order relation, what makes this math impossible! O.o

Actually, that's math.
- From a girl
Girls= Evil^-2 * Evil^-2
Girls = 2Evil^-2
isn't that step wrong?
Should just be
Girls= Evil^-2 * Evil^-2
Girls = Evil
It would actually be Girl=(Evil^2)^2
That is just too cute! Too bad I'm the math whiz in my marriage.
