    • you know, compared to the 300ib+ hambeasts who frequent most anime and comic book conventions, yes, yes she is emaciated.

      • Sorry I have to agree. She is too thin and pale. She looks like if she actually was going to try to fight crime she would get beaten like a step-child.

        Its a bit disheartening to see so much praise and worship just because an average looking girl puts on an outfit that satisfies the fetishes that frequent conventions.

    But don't you think someone who flies around in that outfit absorbing sunlight for her superpower fuel would have… I don't know… a tan on the belly? Legs too, come to think of it. Maybe it's… VAMPIRE SUPERGIRL!

    As soon as they make a movie about undead with the superpower of flight, I'll quit the entire genre.

  6. I'd expect Superman/girl to be immune to actual tans.

    As for undead with the power of flight — several vampires can fly. For example, some of the vampires in "True Blood" can, Dracula could turn into bats or mist that could fly, some vampires in Buffy could fly, etc. Dracula was in several movies, so I guess you'll have to quit the genre.

    (And it doesn't have to be vampires. Any Warcraft movie that comes out is likely to have flying undead, for example.)

    • Yea, I spoke too generally. I've been reading too many zombie books, and those are who I had in mind when I thought of flying undead. You're right though, vamps do it all the time.

      And I don't expect Supergirl to be immune to tans, just immune to skin cancer. Even superheroes got to look good.

      • Tanned is essentially damaged. Also on the side of Supergirl and Superman not being able to tan… Tom Welling in his role as Clark Kent for Smallville is not allowed tn"o get a tan; sure his skin isn't pale but he isn't allowed to go out and "tan".

  13. It's a great costume, but I have to agree that she's a bit too much on the thin side. Don't get me wrong, she's an exceptionally beautiful woman, but she could definitely use a few pounds. If she's that thin naturally, then good for her and she shouldn't worry about changing a thing as it would mean that she's living very healthy, but unfortunately models that are that thin don't have anything natural nor especially healthy about how they got that way.

  21. Her hair is really long! I wonder if those are hair extensions? Hey, it's hard to get everything exactly perfect cosplaying. I'm pretty pale myself so I sympathize. I think she did a good job.
