Featured Animated Short: Logorama

March 17, 2010 by Geeks are Sexy | View Comments

Directed by French animation collective H5, Logorama was initially presented at the Cannes Film Festival last year and won a 2010 academy award under the “animated short” category. Up until a few months ago, the movie was available everywhere online, but it quickly got removed from all the sources it was hosted on. Now, “Human”, the company that produced the sound track for the movie, has made it available on vimeo, so we figured that from now on, it was there to stay. Enjoy!

I don’t understand these folks. On one side they want people to see their work and get to know it. But on the other side they get really bitchy if people even DARE to upload their work on YouTube. Please dudes, make up your mind.

It’s perfectly easy to y’know..share the original embed script on the site they chose to upload it on (or even just link to the url) and not steal the file. If a person chooses to use copyright law, that’s well within their rights as a creator and these laws shouldn’t be weakened by a few asses on the internet who think the world belongs to them.
