I wonder if anyone warned them of the toxic gases that those bulbs contain, namely mercury.

  2. Mark says:

    Mercury’s not a gas . . .

    • London Reinhard says:

Chemistry: At atmospheric pressure and room temperature, mercury isn’t a gas, but ever heard of water boiling? Mercury does that too, just at a different temperature.

  3. MJK says:

Brian, I doubt it. If they had any sense, they would first care that they were bleeding from beating each other with fluorescent light bulbs. Mercury is too intangible for them to care about it.

  4. MJK says:

Mark, Mercury is not a gas, but can easily turn into a vapor.
