For those of you who have always wondered about Antarctica’s real size, NASA has released this informative picture via Twitter comparing the size of the continent (5.4 million sq mi, or roughly 14.0 million sq km) in relation with the size of the United States of America, less Alaska and Hawaii, of course.

is there info on how many people live there aswell? A comparison between the amout of m² available to each north american and each Antarctican (?) would be interesting ^^
