I believe the descriptions (”things that…”) should be in the circles, and the actual objects should be in the overlap. Am I right?

This is highly subjective, I could make the exact same chart and switch out all kinds of things and various people would find it works depending on their location, politics, religion, lack thereof, education, job etc.
If you live in Sweden for example where ever adult is required to own and train with a gun you’re outlook would be different.
Your politics are showing just based on the items you choose to include.
For those of us who are gun owners as well as geeks, this is a little offensive. I have to agree with carbonware’s comment, your political leanings are on display by including firearms as things “crazy people” own. I stopped reading TechCrunch awhile back because the political propaganda got a little too thick. Please don’t make me stop reading GAS!
Hey TheTruthHurts.. I only have one thing to say in answer to your comment: I’m Canadian. I just posted this because it was humorous.. there was no underlying political motivation behind this. Sorry if it offended you.
