YikeBike – The World’s Smallest, Lightest Electric Folding Bicycle
October 10, 2009 by Geeks are Sexy | 4 comments

Designed and constructed in Christchurch New Zealand, the YikeBike is the worlds smallest, lightest electric folding bicycle. Featuring a carbon composite frame, the YikeBike is fairly light at 9.8kg (21lbs). It has a top speed of 20km/h (approx. 12mph) and offers a total range of 10 km (6.21 miles), with 30 minutes of recharge time. The only problem we can see is that people look fairly ridiculous on it. But hey, who cares about looks when the environment is supposed to come first, right?

At a price of around 4000 euros they can go and suck a yike
There’s something much more environmentally friendly than a YikeBike:
WALKING
For cryin’ out loud, walk a few miles. Three miles there, three miles back. That’s this thing’s entire range. If you’re so large that you can’t walk to the store three miles away, you’re already over this little bike’s weight limit, so take my advice and skip that trip to McDonalds.
Awesome comment, and well said!
It’s amazing but a little expensive for me ! I prefer to buy a good bike.
