There's nothing sexy, geeky, or funny about this... So what were they learning in those 15-30 days they missed? How to be properly bullied (as demonstrated most likely by a teacher or principal)? Oh, maybe they missed a very important lesson in how to form cliques and alienate other students... yeah because I'd hate for them to miss out on learning that one - they'll need that their whole life. Did they miss a very important lecture entitled "sit quietly at your desk; teacher has a hangover"? Or maybe they missed out on the week where the class reads one of the many disturbing and potentially traumatizing 'classic' novels that the public education system crams down their throats. Or was it a history test based on weeks of learning misinformation that glorifies the deeds of men who actually stole all of their ideas from other people (Thomas Edison, among many many others - Seriously, look it up) - But of course, schools are too lazy or ironically ignorant to give any real facts, teach any real knowledge, or even bother to research the crap they spew. I would think that "Geeks are Sexy" of all groups would pride itself in knowing all of this rather than regurgitating something some whiny teachers posted because they were being jerks and didn't want to have to do their freaking jobs. If missing 15 days means that they can't educate you in whatever subject you are learning that semester, then they aren't very good teachers.

Wow so this just proves that public school systems are lazy, self righteous and narcissistic in every country, not just the US. This eventually led to severe depression, attempted suicide and hospitalization at an age when most kids should be worried about far more trivial things. Sure there are a lot of crazy parents, but there are also a heck of a lot of terrible teachers who should just quit. So I didn't find this all that funny. =)

While this might be true in some instances, I was terrorized by older kids in a split 5/6 with a teacher who didn't care and the school refused to move me to the other class time and time again. Let's the parents realize how much they complain about things that aren't really the school's fault. Though I don't like that whoever put the words onto the screen kind of improvised and put words that weren't said or skipped the ones that were!

Pretty funny.
