Sony knows they already have all the girls who love video games and can actually play who love the game so much they don't need or want a sparkly cover and for those of us who need something decorative we use spiderman stickers or something else. So i think with this new purple cover and easy level games they're trying to get the girls that cant play games and the only thing they can play is the pet and shopping games. I think Sony is trying to grasp a younger audience that needs an easier level of games. But you guys are all right, i think they're going about it the wrong way. First off, why make purple, don't they know that most often studies show if you make anything Pink girls will buy it over something better quality just to have it in pink. Not to mention, the fact that the games they brought out suck, they need games that are not only at an easier level but stuff that not just girls will like, because the amount of purchases of these games will not cover the costs to make the games. i seriously cant see who would buy this for their girls anyways, i would still buy a nintendo wii or ds for my daughter just because the games are better, they have things that not only my daughter would like but son too. mario brothers, need i say more?

Unfortunately, I've met young people who speak (and write!) *exactly* like that. On an arts&entertainment program several months ago, I had the misfortune to listen to Avril Lavigne speak exactly that way. Sheesh!
