Destroy Build Destroy Teaches Kids how to Blow Up Stuff

June 17, 2009 by Geeks are Sexy | 2 comments

Destroy Build Destroy is a new TV show premiering June 20th on Cartoon Network. It features two teams of kids blowing up stuff, building new things out of the remaining parts, and then blowing them up again! And we’re not talking about small-scale explosions here… oh no!

Sounds fun doesn’t it? Although I’m not sure having a show like this on a children network is such a good idea. It might encourage some kids to try doing similar experiments at home, which could lead to potentially disastrous situations. Fortunately, TNT and Rocket launchers are pretty hard to come by in most suburbs!

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think airing such a show is irresponsible from a network whose primary audience is children?

Wow ! looks very stupid to me, i don’t see the point and i don’t think this is very environmental friendly.

  2. Tim says:

While this is cool, because there is no better way to learn something then by learning how to take it apart, or sploding it. There is a lot of science in actions like that. And how can you complain about getting more kids into science.

But…this is really the fall of Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network is supposed to show…well, cartoons…
