The day that comic came out, my local news did a story about SOMETHING (I can’t remember what) that was totally in alignment with Step 6. I was amazed!

@Matt Very good point. I didn’t even notice that.

I have noticed this trend myself before. Web news and news broadcasts both take the taglines way over the top just to enhance viewership. But in my opinion they shoot themselves in the foot. I don’t watch the news much anymore because I got tired of “YOUR KIDS WILL DIE FROM EXPOSURE TO THIS” to find out that if I force-feed them 20 paint chips it might be a choking hazard. Totally burnt out on the whole news world.
Case in point: did anyone pay attention to this ’swine flu pandemic’ for more than a week? That’s how long it took for me to stop caring.
