The iPhone started/starts at $600, no way, no how that a new "cool" Apple tablet is going to cost less at the outset, or ever for that matter, than the iPhone. If it starts out less that $1,000 I'll be surprised, more than likely it'll be as expensive or a little less than the lowest price Mac laptop available. $500 -$700????
