If it has changed then thank you Sir, you got your point across but it is there now. Since I doubt that it just popped there in these two weeks in between my post and @Pharoah3d('s) post, you sir fail at your rant and are ranting for too long and for not helping at all. You should have pointed that out.

I don’t think Sanjay had an issue with not being able to figure out he could just copy the link and send it on, it’s more that it means more effort like copying the link, bringing up his email client or webmail, creating a new email with the link and a little explanation. It could also simple be he liked that feature and is dismayed at it not being there anymore.

That copy paste idea requires a lot more effort than simply typing in his friends email address into a box and clicking send and them sending a nice formatted email saying “This person thought you might be interested in this”.

Did you know that the vast majority of people will go to Google first then type in the name of a company, brand or name to get a list of search results to get a link to them, when most of the time all they needed to do was type in the same information to the url bar and add a simple .com or .co.uk etc. and they would get to the site directly. It’s certainly less effort and yet they do it time and time again.

Now this site may have removed the feature because it was hardly being used, but that doesn’t negate that Sanjay as a user of the site can say that he is disappointed that the feature is no longer there as it inteferes with his enjoyment of the site.

In fact you may find that a lot of people agree with this viewpoint and that they may have to put it back in.

Overall it makes the site better for all users and without his feedback could ruin the usability of the site.

It is important to encourage people to speak up about things like these, instead, both your comments only serve to slag him off instead of being constructive like his comment.
