Y’mean kinda like how most films are?
You see a little bit of action to wet your appetite, you meet a hero that has some creases to iron out, they meet people who help them do so despite not liking them right at the start for dramatic conflict, they face a bigger enemy and get rewarded at the end.
No shit.
Star Wars has elements of Joseph Campbell’s heros. It seems like Star Trek does too. Many stories are similar and he noticed that, and it is made apparent by that video.
I’ve noticed similarities between Daffy Duck and Donald Duck! Should we be concerned? Really!

NICE…I am glad someone showed that. I was so dissappointed in this movie. It was not a subtle ripoff, it was a COMPLETE ripoff….shocks me how many people think this movie is so great.
