For God's sake, could you be any more self-important than to stroll around all day with a Bluetooth headset on? It's as if you're saying, "The Pentagon may very well be calling any moment now and I've got to be perpetually poised to take that ever-so-vital call. When in reality, it's almost always just your bud, Jimbo, calling to say, "Dude... whatcha doin'?" People seem to have become so fixated with cell phones that they can't fathom that we actually survived - and reasonably well - for decades without these nasty little attention-leeches. Cell phones steal the independence and rationale from those who carry them. People no longer mentally map out what they'll be doing for the remainder of the day. Instead, they just wander blindly off into the day, knowing that they're always a button-press away from somebody who'll swoop in & rescue their silly spontaneous selves at the last minute. And Bluetooth only makes this worse!

I especially liked the part about how people will be together, but the important thing isn't what they're doing, it's what they'll tweet/post about it later.
