I haven’t read a lot of steampunk fiction, but I find the artistic elements associated with it to be pretty fantastic. Maybe it’s just the beauty of a world without plastic… but there’s definitely something very cool about the combination of bronze, glass, wood, and clockwork. In any case, I just spent a very fun hour scouring Flickr for these Steampunk-inspired costumes, sculptures, and mods. And there’s plenty more where these came from!

I think her motorcycle and his scooter are the same piece of machinery.
Quite right! I'm posing in front of the Whirlygig Emoto, which was made by my friend Tom Sepe.

Love the pictures, but it shows the stereotypical steampunk idea of "i must always have a use for goggles", or "I'm wearing a corset, i must steampunk the rest of it". Now i'm not saying its a bad idea, but the idea of SP was Retro Future Victorian era… wearing such clothes were for street walkers. just sayin/

I've been to the site where they made the Steampunk Desktop. It's intense how long it takes to make that desktop computer.
