This was a cartoon. I remember watching this as a kid on our old black-and-white TV, though I was pretty young. I can clearly remember the noise he made when he walked. It looks as though the movie Astro Boy be more sophisticated than the 60's kid. The 3D rendering changes the tone of it considerably (not to mention the addition of color). I'm really looking forward to this movie. I just hope that it doesn't completely spoil my memories of kid-hood the way the Speed Racer movie did. Listening? This was a cartoon.
