If you’re looking for a great set of wireless headphones, Amazon.com currently has Sennheiser’s RS120 headphones for $69.99, shipping included. I bought this model almost two months ago, and I’m still amazed at how well they perform for the price I paid. The RS120 has a range of 120ft, offers clear sound and great bass, and is rechargeable. Definitely worth the investment if you want to listen to music around your house without disturbing anyone.

I purchased a pair of those last year and paid over $130 for them (I’m in Canada). That’s an excellent price.
I’ve got a set of 130’s and love them other than one annoyance–they try too hard to save power and will go into a power-saving mode if there is no signal for long enough (and that’s not very long). They come back out on their own after a few seconds of sound but the result is that you lose a few seconds if you pause whatever the sound source is that you’re listening to.
There’s not a bit of interference despite the fact the side panels aren’t even on my computer and unlike the IR systems it works outside the room. I’ll get a bit of interference if I got to the kitchen (~30 ft, 2 walls in the way) and by the time I get to the fridge (~35 ft, 2 walls and a floor in the way) it’s very prone to disconnecting.
Note that while they are rechargeable it’s actually simply a pair of ordinary NiMh AAA batteries in there which are quite easily changed. Thus if you accidentally let it run dead you’re not stuck–in fact, I have never used the charger at all as there’s no spot near my computer I can put it that leaves enough space to put the headset on it. (And it must be nearby–the base station *IS* the charger–that odd metal hook-like thing isn’t an antenna, but rather the connection for the charger. You simply set the headset on it.)
