He did say however that none of them could spread malaria :) As for the the second part of the presentation, it's clear that America's education system is flawed... it's great teachers that drive kids to better themselves, but the system dosn't do anything to encourage teachers to better themselves. Mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria and the rampant HIV epidemic in Africa are real problems facing the world, and NOT global warming. That said, using bio-terrorism as an object lesson in a packed auditorium would get most people arrested. Then again, the activist in me cheered a little. And it was incredible to learn about what Gates is doing with education. I have been a long proponent of ending Malaria.
