Um … right.

1) Do you really think a security guard knows what the programmer/IT guy is doing? One or more of his peers would make a far better "guard".

2) The root problem here was that login and special access privileges were NOT revoked immediately (if not sooner).

Then again, if you have folk you cannot trust in trusted positions, odds are that you can be screwed at any time.
